Tonight was a simple and easy dinner. I had a lot of food in the fridge and freezer that I needed to use up. It’s nice to finish up little bits and pieces of food to make room for new groceries.
I gotta say today was ok, but it really could have been better. I wouldn’t say today was a full binge but it was teetering in that direction. I was grazing on food too much and really ate a lot more cheese and trail mix than I’m comfortable with. No one said change is easy and my habit of overeating, particularly when I’m stressed out (which I was) has been going on for at least 10 years. In fact, food and I have never really had a healthy relationship. Which is one of the many reasons why I’m keeping this blog, so I can start to form a healthy relationship with food. This is a very important goal for me.
- 1 small sweet potato
- Steamed veggies with vegan butter
- Tater tots
- Not shown: 2 turkey meatballs, feta cheese on the veggies, 1.5 ounces of Swiss cheese, and ketchup. Also for dessert 1/3 cup trail mix (raisins, peanuts and chocolate)
